DaVita Clinical Operations Analyst in Vernon Hills, Illinois

This position provides operational and analytical program support to the broader Clinical Operations team. At Lifeline Vascular Access, we are dedicated to delivering clinically superior vascular care to patients with a variety of chronic conditions, including those with End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD). For our dialysis patient population, their access is literally their lifeline as it is the sole means by which their essential dialysis treatments are administered.

Reporting to the Sr Director Clinical Operations, this position will collaborate with Lifeline’s clinical lane leaders to help advance current clinical operational objectives, analyze and implement new service lines in our centers, as well as lead process improvement efforts to achieve operational excellence, patient satisfaction, and teammate satisfaction impact. This person will be a critical player Lifeline’s ever changing and growing business.

  • Collaboratively identify, launch, and manage both tactical and strategic projects throughout various areas of clinical operations to deliver incremental value, quality, and efficiency.
  • Analyze and monitor operational data for the Clinical lanes and communicate the results projects/ initiatives to management and the field.

  • Drive analysis to assist the prioritization of educational activities and possible new service line offerings.
  • Assist clinical team with center trainings related to clinical ops process improvement roll-outs.
  • Assist in medical management compliance
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support Clinical lanes and ancillary operations as needed.
  • Partner with integrated care teammates (e.g. ESCO and SNP leaders) and other strategic teams.
  • Lead the transportation audit process in partnership with Team Quest.
  • Participate as an active member of the team in setting team goals and priorities.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to: Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed; know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures
  • Travel required: up to 25%

  • Bachelor’s degree in related area required (Economics, Business, etc.)


  • Minimum of three (3) years related experience in finance/analytics, project management or process improvement projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to run cross functional projects and implementing solutions.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook required.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence and gain commitment at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong facilitation and oral/written communication skills. Confident presenter.
  • Experience in health care services environment preferred.
  • LEAN/Six Sigma certification highly desirable.
  • Project Management Institute (PMP) certification highly desirable.
