DaVita Business Analyst in Tacoma, Washington

The

purpose of this position is to support Collection reporting, analytical, and

system development needs to ensure department goals and objectives are

achieved, in alignment with DaVita’s Mission and Core Values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collect,analyze, interpret, and summarize for internal and external customers
  • Demonstratedproficiency in MS Excel, Access, SQL, or other analytical applications
  • Designand initiate data queries and databases, using several data sources
  • Maintaindata integrity of departmental databases and tracking systems and participatein the analysis and interpretation of data as appropriate.
  • Maintaincomprehensive knowledge of high-level functions within Collectionsas well as ROPS.
  • Assistin the development of metrics and performance tracking systems.
  • Developand maintain automated data collection and tracking systems.
  • Providesupport to internal customers through creation, training and maintenance ofAccess Databases and Excel based tools.
  • Provideanalytical support to Collection Teams as requested.
  • Assistin training/mentoring new team members on Access and Excel tools.
  • Actas a liaison to IT when troubleshooting system outages or interruptions.
  • Actas point of contact for planned system outages or upgrades.
  • Providetechnical expertise for all IT initiatives impacting Collections.
  • TroubleshootODBC connections and database connectivity.
  • Validatereport criteria and provide QA to Team Excelsior as requested.
  • Maintaincomprehensive knowledge of high-level functions within Collectionsas well as ROPS.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company, contractand patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and DaVitapolicies
  • Developexception reports for analysis of system and individual performance
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Minimumof three (3) years related analytical experience required, including but notlimited to: solid data analysis experience, Project management skillls, and strongcommunication skills

  • Demonstratedstrengths in organizational, attention-to-detail, follow-through, analyticalreasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strongwritten, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills including ability tolisten attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work well withcross-functional groups
  • Beginnerlevel Oracle & Microsoft SQL coding knowledge
  • Beginnerlevel Tableau Dashboard development
  • Demonstratedprofessionalism and courtesy in responding to phone calls and emails
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented
  • Strongcustomer service skills and commitment to service excellence
