We are seeking an Affiliate ProviderRelations Rep to join our talented team!

Overview:

The Affiliate Provider RelationsRepresentative serves as the primary liaison in operational matters for thenetwork of Affiliate Primary Care Providers. Individual is responsible forstrengthening and maintaining positive relationships between Company, HealthPlan, and Providers.

Essential Functions:

  • Enhance and maintain positiveprovider relationships to ensure company vision is met.

  • Travel to various affiliate clinicsto conduct training, and provide daily operational trouble shooting.

  • Serve as a liaison to the providercommunity in resolving complex problems.

  • Responsible for understanding thecomplexity of assigned clinics, and how provider sites and administrative staffare interrelated.

  • Supports the development,implementation, and ongoing maintenance of company initiatives and operations.

  • Sufficiently document and maintainrecords relative to communications with assigned providers to ensure a mutualunderstanding of expectations.

  • Meets with assigned providersregularly and proactively identify education and performance improvementopportunities through these interactions and/or feedback from staff.

  • Ensures professional growth throughmanagement and self-directed learning opportunities.

  • Seeks out provider information tosupport company initiatives and implementation strategies.

  • Support team members and providesupport to other clinics as needed.

  • Manage high volume of providerinquiries and ensure consistent follow through on resolution of providerissues.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’sdegree with or an equivalent combination of education, training, or workexperience.

Experience:

  • Minimum:2 years progressively responsible workexperience in healthcare, in a Provider Relations/Customer Serviceenvironmentwith demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledgeof Medicare Advantage (health plans)

  • BasisMedical office terminology

  • Previous healthcare provider relations experience.

  • Working knowledge of provider offices and relationshipswith health plans.

  • Ability to effectively present and educate officestaffand physicians

  • Basis knowledge of referrals, encounters, claims,

  • Understanding of billing practices and reimbursementmethods.

  • Excellent project management skills along with excellentwritten, oral and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office, includingOutlook, Word, Excel & Power Point.

  • Ability to establish rapport and interact well with staffat all levels, and maintain a professional image and attitude.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally andestablish and maintain effective working relationships with physicians, seniormanagement, staff, and vendors.

  • Ability to work independently with general guidance.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Detail oriented and ability to handle multiple tasks withexcellent organizational skills and workplace flexibility.

  • Resolve provider inquiries or requests in a timelymanner.

  • Must be able to present a positive, professional andpleasant image while interacting with various personalities

  • Ability to travel locally.

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
