DaVita is currently seeking a shining star to join our fantastic dialysis team in Pasco, WA as a Clinical Nurse Manager!

This is an exciting, full-time, primarily day shift, position, that offers a great mix of hands-on patient care, combined with administrative responsibilities that bring success to our team and organization! While prior leadership or supervisory/managerial experience in any setting is desirable, it's not required. DaVita provides an excellent training program that will provide you the necessary skills and knowledge in regard to dialysis nursing, leadership and clinical outcomes, that would be needed to be successful in this position.

In this role you will work in-center as a clinical nurse caring for patients approximately half of the time. Your remaining time will involve attending quality meetings, being instrumental in regard to our clinical outcomes and will involve working directly with both the facility administrator and medical director in regard to monthly clinical meetings. You'll be a leader in providing support, instruction and supervision in regard to staff training and procedures, both clinically and administratively. Although staff will report directly to the facility administrator, they will have a dotted-line to you!

  • B.S.N degree from accredited school of nursing, preferred

  • Current RN license in state of practice required with no Board of Nursing disciplinary actions
  • Minimum of 12 months' clinical nursing experience
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis required
  • Completed training program approved by the medical director and the governing body as required by CMS guidelines prior to operating the water treatment system
  • Charge, supervisory, managerial or leadership experience preferred; willingness, desire, and ability to supervise required. Prior leadership experience may come from outside the nursing/healthcare arena.
  • CPR certification required
  • CNN or CDN certification strongly preferred
