DaVita IT Helpdesk/ Project Coordinator in Minneapolis, Minnesota


This position will be responsible for helpdesk activities, maintaining inventory of IT equipment, keeping helpdesk knowledge base documentation up to date.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Position will not have supervisory responsibilities.


The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all-inclusive.

  • Track and troubleshoot desktop issues.

  • Work with DaVita IT to resolve and find root cause of IT issues.

  • Manage IT inventory.

  • Serve as Sys admin to add/delete users from IT systems.

  • Maintain and update the helpdesk knowledge base.

  • Research, collect and evaluate IT project data necessary to meet project reporting and evaluation requirements.

  • Provide technical assistance to teammates in the creation of project concept and project documents.

Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor’s degree in related area required or a combination of education and progressively responsible work experience in related area may be substituted in lieu of degree on a year-for-year basis

  • Three to five years experience in an IT support or analytical role

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills in a Microsoft/Windows environment.

  • General understanding of IT systems and getting familiar with DaVita systems

  • Intermediate to advance computer skills and proficiency in MS Project required; intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook required

  • Experience maintaining/creating process flow documents

  • Development of Project Plans, entry level
