DaVita Group Finance Director in Malvern, Pennsylvania

We currently seek a Group Finance Director (GFD) to join our Village, working in our Philadelphia area-based Team Avanti headquarters. The GFD will lead the Finance function for a $1B+ business with approximately 6,000 teammates. We're looking for someone with a strong analytical and financial background, the ownership mindset to consistently and proactively seek ways to improve the business, the leadership ability to operationalize new ideas and insights. In addition, this person will be a key thought partner and work closely with the GVP, Director of Strategy, Director of People Services, and head of Business Development.


  • Traditional finance responsibilities, including monthly reporting on results (conclusions and insights, not creating core reports), variance analysis, root-cause analysis, and developing the yearly growth plan and materials.

  • Ad-hoc analytical support/thought partnership with the GVP, which can encompass any area of the business

  • Supporting Divisional Operations leaders and helping to drive operational improvements (either directly or via finance team)

  • Implement self-generated ideas for improvement or engage in national projects to improve overall business performance

  • Lead the Group finance team, including the direct supervision, development of and accountability for the performance of the division finance manager staff

  • MBA required.

  • Accounting or Finance undergraduate degree.

  • Consulting or Investment banking experience highly preferred.

  • Healthcare industry background a plus.

  • Expert level computer skills and proficiency in finance/accounting systems like ESS Base, MS excel, word, outlook and power point required.
