DaVita Director, Clinical Services (VillageHealth) in Malvern, Pennsylvania


The Director, Clinical Services functions as the division’s clinical lead responsible for quality, education and nursing services. Responsible for the implementation of programs to improve patient quality outcomes by providing training, education, project management and support for the clinical teammates within assigned division. Spearheads clinical innovation in integrated care for kidney patients, in and outside of the clinic.


Drives division clinical outcomes, including implementation, monitoring, and reporting 40%

Drives the implementation of training materials/revisions in collaboration with the Training & Education team; ensures timely completion of required training for clinical teammates 10%

Manages compliance/regulatory adherence within division, including but not limited to, ensuring training programs meet external regulations requirements and proper documentation is submitted to regulatory agencies; develops action plans and strategies for addressing deficiencies 5%

Manages Clinical Quality Administrators (CQAs), providing training, coaching, and ongoing performance management 20%

Leads and provides critical input into innovation special projects for integrated care for kidney patients 20%

Other duties as assigned. 5%

  • Atleast 10 years of experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

  • Current RN license in state of practice

  • Minimum of ten years’ clinical experience in case management and/or renal services

  • Minimum of three years’ management and/or administrative experience

  • Minimum of two years’ project management and/or project implementation experience

  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook’


  • Prior experience managing remote teammates

  • Clinical Nurse Specialist

  • Advanced Practice Nursing

  • Travel: Approximately 25%, but up to 50%.

  • Nights/Weekends: As required, but very infrequent.
