OVERALL JOB PURPOSE

Responsible for project management and analysis within the Provider Services department. This position supports the initiatives of Provider Services department and the goals of the Clinical Services division related to recruitment and retention of Providers.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must have an Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Responsible for quality and continuous improvement within the job scope.

  • Responsible for all actions/responsibilities as described in company controlled documentation for this position.

  • Responsible for planning, executing and closing any project related to the Provider Services department

  • Develops reports, graphs and presentations.

  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests

  • Creates financial packets as needed.

  • Attends various meetings related to project management

  • Strong planning and organizational skills required along with the ability to multi-task on projects.

  • This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Must possess a sense of urgency and tact when responding to management and customer request.

Qualifications

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • Education :

  • High school diploma or GED, College degree preferred

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years administrative office experience, preferably in provider/contract relations or healthcare environment.

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.

  • Must have excellent verbal and written skills.

  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and external parties.

  • Must have knowledge of variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

  • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing contracts.

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.

  • Excellent planning and coordinating skills

  • Position may require overtime periodically.
