TheHR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectiveswithin the organization. This position serves as a consultant to our managementteam on human resources-related issues and acts as a change agent/champion forall employees within the organization. The position formulates partnershipsacross the HR functions to deliver value-added service to management andemployees. The HRBP will haveresponsibilities in: employee relations leave of absences, recognition, workerscompensation, and HRIS functions. Interprets, recommends and administers DaVitaHealthcare Partners and Human Resource policies and procedures to promotepositive employee relations within the organization and minimize risk to the organization.
ESSENTIALJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate the organizations commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer.
Assist with investigations, preparing documentation, analyses and writes comprehensive fact finding reports on employee relations issues, workers compensation, LOA (leave of absence) to include FMLA and any other required documentation.
Interprets and applies DaVita HCP policies and procedures, past practices and applicable federal and state laws and regulations to decisions impacting employer-employee relations; makes action plan recommendations to management.
Administers all DaVita HCP policies and procedures pertaining to employee relations practices, which may include but are not limited to: Leaves of Absence, Terminations, Performance Management, Payroll notifications, workforce reductions, site relocations, etc.
Assist with handling employee relationscounseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
Partners with management staff on employee Performance Improvement Plans (PIP); provides feedback to HR management regarding PIP and Annual Performance Assessments for employees.
Assists in evaluation of reports,decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continualimprovements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Assist with generating data to measure and evaluate exit interviews, voluntary and involuntary turnover data, etc.
Coordinates and manages DaVitaHealthcare Partners employee recognition programs.
Promotes and embodies DaVita HCP’smission, vision and values as an organization
Responds to general employee requests for information on company programs.
Creating, planning, implementation of all company employee events
Recommends new processes and procedures within the employee services function to promote department efficiencies and realize cost savings.
Uses, protects, and discloses HCP patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field or combination of experience and education
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or (SPHR) certification preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point)

Detail orientated with excellent organizational skills
Ability to work with all levels in the organization
