Description

Overview: Under the direction of a radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis. Assumes daily operational responsibility for designated area as required.

Schedule:Schedule will vary to include shifts Sunday-Saturday covering all operating hours, averaging 40 hours per week

Qualifications

Education/Credentials:

  • Minimum: Completion of course in radiologic technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

  • Minimum: Radiologic Technologist (RT) license through the Washington State Department of Health.

  • Minimum: ARRT certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

  • Minimum: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (through the American Heart Association).

Experience:

  • Preferred: 1 year of previous RT work experience.
