Associate Administrator Quality Improvement


Overview: In collaboration with Associate Medical Director, Quality and Safety, provides overall leadership and strategic oversight of the Quality, Patient Safety, and Credentialing. Departments to promote high quality patient services that are safe, effective, timely, and efficient and compliant with applicable regulations. Oversees Quality and Safety corporate metrics and major initiatives including long term planning, strategy formulation, establishment of performance indicators at system and process levels, project selection and prioritization, as well as facilitates and monitors key organizational improvement projects. Reviews health care processes at the Clinic (organizational and direct patient care) and identifies, analyzes and addresses problems using a data driven, process improvement, collaborative approach incorporating lean principles of visibility and standard work. Accountable for growth strategy, operational effectiveness and risk management in all areas of responsibility.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Business, Industrial Engineering, or Healthcare Administration. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years leadership experience. Minimum of ten years in Quality Improvement in a healthcare setting preferably with experience in an ambulatory medical group setting. Experience should include development and management of programs supporting improved value in healthcare service, quality and cost. Experience working with quality performance standards, Lean methodology for process improvement, diagnosis and other coding systems, accreditation, and other performance standards (i.e. JCAHO, NCQA, HEDIS preferred).

Certificate/License: Relevant professional license and/or certification as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
