Overview:

Responsible for updating and maintaining employee data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS); ensures data integrity; participates in functional testing for special projects; provides reports and general information requiring a thorough understanding of the organizational structure and policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:

  • Has a working knowledge of all Human Resources functional areas.

  • Ensures the accurate and timely input of information into HRIS including new hires, job/position changes, separations and salary changes.

  • Examines and verifies employee information updated by manual and automated human resources processes.

  • Generates and distributes daily, monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports.

  • Responds to customer inquiries within designated time frames.

  • Works closely with Compensation and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

  • Performs regular audits of HR information and determines root causes of errors.

  • Participates in efforts to improve data integrity and standardization of processes.

  • Assists project with system implementations.

  • Assist the HRIS Supervisor in the maintenance of HRIS tables and master files.

  • Participates in system and integration testing.

  • Supports reporting needs for internal and external customers.

  • Provides backup for HRIS Supervisor as needed.

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/orExperience

  • Associates Degree

  • 2-4 years of HRexperience; at least 1 year of HRIS experience

  • 1-2 years of reportwriting experience using Business Objects or similar report writingapplications

  • Intermediate knowledgeof MS Office, especially Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with WorkdayHRIS system highly desired but will consider a candidate with similar systems experience.
