DaVita Integrated Care Partnerships - Strategy Analyst in Denver, Colorado


The Integrated Care Partnerships Strategy Analyst will work as part of a team that manages a $2.5B+ commercial portfolio. The analyst is a key member of the Integrated Care Partnerships team, which is at the center of DaVita’s strategy for the future and the tip of the spear in DaVita’s evolution from a fee for service to value based world. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the growth of DaVita’s integrated care business with commercial payors and provider-led health systems. This includes supporting strategy formulation, business development, and the delivery of a variety of innovative integrated care partnerships (pay-for-performance, shared savings, capitation) through financial and clams analysis and modeling. Other special projects will include market analysis/modeling related to DaVita’s key payor account strategy.

This strategically vital role provides opportunity for rapid career advancement and extensive interaction with Directors and VPs on the Integrated Care Partnerships, Payor Contracting, Strategy, Operations and Finance teams. In addition, candidates will have exposure to the most senior levels of the DaVita Village.

The Integrated Care Partnerships Analyst will work with a team of highly motivated, fast-paced, senior executives with extensive experience in start-ups, consulting, private equity, and operations. The environment is highly collaborative and team oriented with a differential focus on both professional and personal growth.


The analyst must be able to work successfully with cross-functional teams and have the maturity to interact directly with senior executives across departments. The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive:

  • Analytics:

  • Provide analytical support to all aspects of the deal negotiation process

  • Conduct financial planning and analysis to assess the clinical, operational, and financial performance of existing integrated care programs
  • Perform additional ad-hoc analyses and identify critical questions to drive further insight into the team’s overall strategy

  • High Impact Communication

  • Storyboard, stress test and articulate an argument to be presented to executives

  • Convey analytical findings in a cohesive story, including summarizing insights from analysis; build appropriate external and internal client-facing materials

  • Leadership

  • Identify, communicate, and execute on new opportunities related to our integrated care business or team-related functions

  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute an implementation, work plan, or other strategic initiative

•Completed Bachelor's Degree with a strong record of academic achievement

•Minimum one year of experience in consulting or business/financial analysis

•Dynamic and high energy teammate that can fit in well with a fast paced team

•Strong critical thinking, problem solving and intellectual curiosity

•Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills

•Innovative and flexible thinker with the ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously across multiple teams
