Overview:

We are activelyrecruiting a Senior Financial Analyst to join our National Financial Planningand Analysis (FP&A) team, reporting through the Chief Financial Officer ofthe DaVita Medical Group. Our recently formed and growing team is responsiblefor financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning for DaVitaMedical Group operations across our markets, the central support functions, andstrategic initiatives.

We are looking for aninnovative and creative individual to help us develop new processes and tools tomore effectively manage G&A expense in the central support functions. Inaddition, the teammate will provide advanced analytical support to the Financelane including strategic analyses, financial modeling, and standard and ad-hocreporting. The Finance Analyst will work with a team of highly-motivatedindividuals and is expected to effectively manage individual work streams,distill analytical findings into insights and recommendations, and communicate themto managers.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaboratewith key organizational stakeholders to apply and improve existing practices toensure effective G&A expense management

  • Serve as atrusted partner and strategic advisor to business leads in managing theirteams’ budgets

  • Leverageunderstanding of financial statements, financial modeling, and ahypothesis-based approach to identify, validate and quantify opportunities

  • Identifycost savings opportunities and drive expense management initiatives with crossfunctional teams

  • Demonstrateaptitude for critical thinking in complex situations with the ability to synthesizeambiguous data into concrete results

  • Conveyfindings in a cohesive story and present comfortably and compellingly to teamleadership

  • Supportspecial projects for the lane, including structuring the work, driving theright set of analyses and presenting the conclusions to manager

  • Other dutiesand responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:

  • Interfacewith management across functions within the organization

  • Attend teammeetings, phone conferences and training events as needed

  • Know, understand, and follow teammateguidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’sdegree required, MBA preferred

Experience:

  • 3-6 years ofexperience required, preferably in a Finance or corporate strategy function of alarge organization, or a top tier management consulting or financial servicesfirm

  • Healthcarebackground preferred

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

  • Completeproficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and working knowledge of other MSOffice products

  • Demonstratedability to run data analyses with large data sets

  • Demonstratedability to think strategically by leveraging quantitative analysis to derive insights from the data

  • Strongunderstanding of business process with the ability to translate businessrequirements into meaningful reports and to deliver requested output timely andaccurately

  • “Self-starter”who is passionate about continuously improving the way DaVita does business

  • Demonstratedability to work through ambiguous assignments and adapt easily to a fast-paced,changing environment
