DaVita Licensure & Certification Specialist in Brentwood, Tennessee

This position manages the department's computerized information systems, databases, and applications. This position provides initial and ongoing training to teammates on internal and external processes and updates as needed. This position also oversees and provides accurate and timely reports to management and monitors compliance of teammates with processes, projects, and metrics targets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate team-wide training

  • Respond to issues, concerns, and questions

  • Develop training program

  • Conduct initial and ongoing training to include both internal and external processes and updates as needed

  • Provide ongoing support to management and team for training needs

  • Oversee, mentor, and assist in development of Administrative Assistant position

  • Maintain Licensure and Certification portion of KARMA and Eagle Eye databases

  • Develop and provide accurate and timely reports to management

  • Create and maintain databases and monthly reports for monitoring team metrics and performance; ensure monthly distribution

  • Prepare updates for Team Genesis Monthly Operational Report

  • Create and maintain databases and weekly reports for tracking projects and workload

  • Monitor, supervise, and back-up un-billable report process

  • Coordinate and oversee special projects as needed

  • Serve as a resource and provide project management as needed

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Bachelor's degree in related area required or progressively responsible work experience in related area may be substituted in lieu of degree on a year-for-year basis

  • Minimum of three (3) years' professional experience in healthcare licensure and certification, billing, credentialing or IT required

  • Minimum of one (1) year's experience in training adult learners with demonstrated knowledge of adult learning theory and ability to apply to individual learning styles preferred

  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Access (or other web-based database programs) required; basic knowledge of PowerPoint required
