Senior Clinical Analyst
Responsible for delivering analytic and strategic business insight to executives on core elements of the Company’s long-term strategy, as well as shorter term needs of current business units. Sr. Clinical Analyst will work with a team of highly motivated individuals with healthcare, consulting, banking and clinical experience and is expected to effectively manage individual work streams and communicate analyses effectively within the team and with senior executives.
Measure and Communicate on quality strategies related to STAR, HEDIS, HCC, Patient Satisfaction, and other quality strategies as determined by ABQ Health Partners.
Measure and Communicate on clinical quality measures related to Patient Access, Patient Outreach Activities, Clinical KPIs/Dashboards, and other clinical quality data as determined by ABQ Health Partners.
Spearhead special projects, structure the work, manage the process, drive the right set of analyses, and present the answer to senior executives through a compelling storyline
Maintains aptitude for critical thinking in complex situations and ability to synthesize ambiguous data into concrete results
Ability to drive multiple projects forward simultaneously.
Utilize working knowledge of financial statements in thoughtful financial analyses.
Responsible for mentoring new teammates as they acquire analytic skills.
Data mines, imports, exports and integrates data between multiple systems.
Compiles and consolidates spreadsheets, databases, draw charts and graphs into reports for management decision making.
Generates ad hoc reports and queries from data warehouse for the Quality Improvement department.
Other duties as assigned.
Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
Required: Current TABLEAU Certification or must obtain within one year from date of hire.
- Required: Three (3) years of experience in clinical data analysis.
Preferred: Four (4) years of experience at top tier consulting firm/ PE shop/ Corporate Finance or Corporate Strategy department.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access; VBA, SQL, and/or other programming required; A basic understanding of financial accounting and reporting; Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teammate on project inside and outside of the department; Experience with clinical and financial analysis, processes and terminology; Ability to work efficiently and effectively with teammates
