Overview:

Responsiblefor providing strategic direction and ensuring consistent implementation of PeopleServices policies and practices covering employment, employee/labor relations,wage and salary administration, benefits programs, orientation and training,and employee safety, health and services.

Essential Functions:

  • Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate DaVita Medical Group's commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer

  • Uses, protects, and discloses DaVita Medical Group patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards

  • Manages and directs People Services operations andfacilities by establishing policies and procedures to implement strategic plans.Develops, directs and coordinates work plansand monitors compliance.

  • Implements and evaluates the strategic human resources plan on an annual basis. Makes adjustments if necessary.

  • Delivers proactive customer-oriented services by providing professional and personal assistance to customers by answering inquiries, obtaining information and interpreting policies and procedures.

  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college and/or a professional certification requiring formal education beyond a two-year college.

  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum:

  • Over 7 years and up to and including 10 years of experience.

  • Preferred:

  • Over 7 years and up to and including 10 years of Human Resources experience.

  • 2 or more years of experience managing a Human Resources department.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES :

  • Computer literate.

  • Excellent strategic planning and organizational skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
